Senior Information Class of 2023
Hello and welcome to the Class of 2023 Information Page! This page will be used to share important information with the Class of 2023 and their families.
End-of-Year Events
There are three end-of-the-year events that celebrate every Radnor High School senior's graduation from high school: Baccalaureate, Senior Recognition Night and the Commencement Ceremony.
Graduation Week Event Schedule (June 5 - 7)
ALL GRADUATION REHEARSALS ARE MANDATORY
Please note that all outstanding student fees will be collected at commencement practice. Students with outstanding obligations can participate in Commencement but will not be issued a diploma until obligations are resolved.
Monday, June 5: Graduation Rehearsal #1, (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) at Radnor High School
Seniors should arrive by 8:45 a.m. Our school counselors will be in the auditorium lobby to hand out seating assignments for graduation. Once your child receives their seating assignment, they should proceed to the main gym where rehearsal will take place. We wait for every senior to arrive before we begin. This is the longest rehearsal as we practice the processional, recessional, and the reading of names two times in addition to other Commencement logistics. At the end of rehearsal, we will have a quick lunch for our seniors around noon. Following lunch, we are excited to share that we will start a new tradition at Radnor High School and that is The Senior Stroll!!! Please see more information below.
Monday, June 5: Senior Stroll, (12:45-2:15 p.m.) at Radnor High School, Ithan Elementary School, Radnor Elementary School, and Wayne Elementary School
Students will board buses at Radnor High School right after lunch at approximately 12:45 p.m., and travel to the elementary school they attended for a stroll through the hallways in their cap and gown. At the conclusion of our first Senior Stroll our students will get back on the buses and return to RHS around 2:15 p.m. Our elementary principals and their staff are so excited to see members of the Class of 2023 again! Students are required to wear their cap & gown for this event, and all students must travel by bus. Students may not drive to our elementary schools.
Tuesday, June 6: Graduation Rehearsal #2, (8 a.m. to 11 a.m.) at the Finneran Pavilion, Villanova University.
Graduation Rehearsal will begin promptly at 8 a.m., and we will wait again for every senior to arrive before we start. Seniors should bring their seating assignment to practice. We will practice the processional, recessional, and the reading of names at least once in addition to practicing other Commencement logistics. Students are responsible for transporting themselves to Villanova University.
Tuesday, June 6: Yearbook Distribution, (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.) at the Willows
Yearbooks will be passed out to seniors after graduation practice on Tuesday June 6 at the Willows. Seniors who have not purchased a book in advance can purchase a book at that time for $90.00. Seniors are invited to join their classmates to sign yearbooks while at the Willows. Refreshments will be provided by the class sponsors.
Wednesday, June 7: Graduation Rehearsal #3, (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) at Radnor High School
Seniors should arrive by 8:45 a.m. We will wait for every senior to arrive before we begin. Seniors should bring their seating assignment to practice. We will practice the processional, recessional, and the reading of names at least once in addition to any last-minute reminders.
Wednesday, June 7: COMMENCEMENT at 4 p.m., Villanova University Finneran Pavilion
ALL graduating seniors must arrive at the Finneran Pavilion by 2:45 p.m. Students must be in full graduation attire (cap, gown, tassel) when they arrive. Our young men are required to wear a button-down shirt and tie, in addition to long pants. If a student chose a white gown, the student is encouraged to wear light colors under the robe. If heels are worn, they should be comfortable and not too high so that no one trips walking down the steps attached to the stage. No shorts, sneakers or flip flops are allowed. In addition, students are not permitted to “bedazzle” their cap or gown. If a student arrives with a bedazzled cap or gown, the student will be given a new one for Commencement, and their own cap/gown will be returned at the end of the event. Students are responsible for transporting themselves to Villanova University.

Important Yearbook Information for Class of 2023
The Yearbook Committee is proud to announce the delivery of the 2022-2023 Yearbook. Please find distribution information for this year's yearbook below:
- Yearbooks will be distributed to seniors after graduation practice on Tuesday June 6, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Willows. Seniors who have not purchased a book in advance can purchase a book at that time for $90.00.
- A supplemental will be mailed later this summer to all seniors who purchased a book. The supplemental will include the end-of-year traditions that our students have come to cherish, but that because of timing could not be included in the initial yearbook printing. The supplement will include traditions like college t-shirt day, senior superlatives, senior awards, prom, after prom, graduation, and complete coverage of spring sports. We hope that all our seniors feel celebrated by this year’s yearbook.
