We are a dynamic, inclusive group of parents and friends, and our main goal is to come together as a community to learn about and enjoy one another’s rich cultures and traditions. We welcome all RHS families, from around the globe or from out-of-state, and we are here to help in any way we can.
Our RHS PTO MC members are long-time Radnor residents as well as new to Radnor, and many are fluent in other languages. So no matter what language you speak, we would love to meet you!
How Do We Do This?
We organize parent activities and school-wide gatherings such as the annual International Potluck Dinner and Holi Celebration, and we also work with the RHS PTO Welcome Committee, the RHS English Language Development department, and the RHS Multicultural Student Club, to collaborate with and offer additional help.
What Activities Can You Join?
Radnor Multicultural Parent Gatherings
These gatherings are hosted by RTSD parents throughout the year. These gatherings offer a social and informative platform for diverse families, including planned trips, sessions on how to navigate RHS, and fun activities. We will communicate through the year as we plan these fun excursions.
NOTE: these gatherings are not PTO-funded or sponsored. Please contact Sangeeta Purohit and Loretta Bobb if you would like more information about the non-PTO parent gatherings.

Weekly walk every Thursdays from 9:15 am throughout the school year. Meet at the Radnor Trail parking lot, in front of the dog park. Put “Friends of the Radnor Trail Park “ in your GPS (or look for Vic and Deans Pizza on W Wayne Ave and then go into the carpark behind). If you plan on coming, please inform Rogeria Kaisermann.
Multicultural Book Club
The Multicultural Book Club attempts to create deeper understanding and connection among diverse populations in our community. Books are a great way to learn and gain appreciation for other cultures. We try to include titles and authors from as many cultures as we can - to read interesting books about diverse life experiences, spend time and get to know one another as friends. If you love reading books and are curious about different cultures and histories, and interested in connecting with other parents, this is the book club for you! Once a month the parents meet at a member’s home. The club is a wonderful platform for thoughtful and informative discussions! Contact Shailu Jaswal to be added to the email list: shailu.jaswal@compass.
