Multicultural Committee

MISSION: The RHS Parent Multicultural Committee is a parent run club that is open to EVERY interested parent at Radnor High School. The mission is to provide an opportunity for all parents to meet and get to know each other at various socials throughout the year. Socials follow a specific holiday or theme, at a host parent’s home. Parents participating may bring an appetizer, dessert, main dish, or beverage of their choice.
It is a great opportunity to try a dish you may have not tried before! EVENTS: All socials are parent only, with the exception of two events that are family friendly. The International Potluck in March will tie in World Language Week at RHS. This will be a potluck dinner in the RHS cafeteria (exact date TBD). The other family friendly event will be a meet up at the NJ shore in June.

Please see full calendar: September 9: “Sips and Dips” Try appetizers and desserts from around the world! November 10: “Feast and the Furious-Friendsgiving Drift” Enjoy Thanksgiving themed dishes! Late March 2024-TBA “Rome around the World” This a family friendly potluck held at the RHS cafeteria. May 4,2024: “A Chip off the Ol’ Guac!” A Cinco de Mayo celebration! COMMUNICATION: All event reminders will be communicated through email. Please contact Loretta Bobb, RHS Parent Multicultural Club Chair, Loretta Bobb, at to be added to the email list. Event reminders will also be listed in the Radnor Reader and RHS PTO newsletter.

Multicultural Walking Group

Weekly walk every Thursdays from 9:15 am throughout the school year. Meet at the Radnor Trail parking lot, in front of the dog park. Put “Friends of the Radnor Trail Park “ in your GPS (or look for Vic and Deans Pizza on W Wayne Ave and then go into the carpark behind). If you plan on coming, please inform Rogeria Kaisermann.

Multicultural Book Club

The Multicultural Book Club attempts to create deeper understanding and connection among diverse populations in our community. Books are a great way to learn and gain appreciation for other cultures.  We try to include titles and authors from as many cultures as we can -  to read interesting books about diverse life experiences, spend time and get to know one another as friends. If you love reading books and are curious about different cultures and histories, and interested in connecting with other parents, this is the book club for you! Once a month the parents meet at a member’s home. The club is a  wonderful platform for thoughtful and informative discussions! Contact Shailu Jaswal to be added to the email list:
