RTSD Hosts Community Resources Event for Multilingual Families

The English Language Development Department at Radnor Township School District recently organized a family involvement event for the multilingual families in RTSD. The event focused on bringing together local organizations to share information with families who are new to our community and find it helpful to have additional exposure to our many community resources. 

The event was held on Sat., Jan. 21 at Radnor Elementary School and included information sharing from local township resources, after school opportunities, adult and teen literacy resources, PA/ USA car seat safety resources, bike safety information, local art and music classes, food banks, housing and support resources and more. Students also enjoyed arts and crafts and a chance to browse and take home books while parents had the

opportunity to socialize and gather information.

Special thanks to our student volunteers who greeted our families, manned tables, and helped students with various activities.
