RHS Sophomore Wins Investment Challenge
Congratulations to RHS sophomore Sam Kuhn who recently placed first in the county and seventh in the state in the Brighter Financial Future’s State Investment Challenge, High School Division.
The competitions are held in the classroom, both county-wide and state-wide, and Sam participated as part of Chip Horner’s Personal Finance class. Sam won a $20 Amazon gift card.
Brighter Financial Future, also known as the Pennsylvania Council on Financial Literacy, exists to prepare the next generation in financial literacy by offering all Pennsylvania students in grades K -12 with Personal Finance education, Investment & Personal Budgeting simulations, along with Entrepreneurship skills that will help them thrive in the workforce & in life.
