RADMUN Wins "Outstanding Delegation" Award at Rutgers
The Radnor High School Model United Nations (RADMUN) team earned "Outstanding Delegation for a Large School," as well as seven individual awards, at the Model United Nations Conference at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ from November 18-21. The conference was the team's first in-person competition in nearly two years.
The seven individual awards won by RHS students at the Rutgers Conference are:
- Most Improved: Petros Karamanides and Olivia Dhavale (UN Children’s Fund)
- Best Position Paper: Sebastian Kaper and Anna Conen (UN Environmental Programme)
- Distinguishable Delegate: Julia Morrison and Adeyombo Adesanya (International Labour Organization)
- Outstanding Delegate: Payton Breck and Audrey Rubenstein (World Health Organization)
- Best Delegate: Reese Hillman and Sofie Jubelirer (International Labour Organization)
- Best Delegate: Neya Anand and Renatka Kozlowska (UN Children’s Fund)
- Best Delegate: Ellie Davis and Zach Irani (UN Office of Internal Oversight Services)
RADMUN attends several conferences per year and hosts monthly meetings. The club is led by student leaders Reese Hillman, Sebastian Kaper, Neya Anand and Juliana Bryant, with assistance from faculty sponsors Rick Dunbar and Bob Spear. Participation is based on competitive tryouts.
