Preston Breck and Sebastian Kaper-Barcelata Win Merit Scholarships

Radnor High School seniors Preston Breck and Sebastian Kaper-Barcelata are winners of college-sponsored scholarships in this year's National Merit Scholarship Competition.

These awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.

Preston earned his scholarship from the University of Southern California, where he plans to study music and entertainment. Sebastians's scholarship is from Boston College, where he plans to study finance.

Preston and Sebastian are among 2,600 awardees in the third group of winners announced this year. They join classmates Nathaniel Jean and Prabhgun Oberoi, who were previously announced as 2022 National Merit $2500 Scholarship winners in May.

NMSC will name the final group of College-sponsored Merit Scholarship winners on July 11.
