Joseph Daniele speaking to parents and students at Kindergarten Bus Orientation

Joseph Daniele was named Acting Director of Transportation by the Radnor Township School District School Board at its monthly meeting on September 29. He assumes the position of former Director of Transportation John Hearn, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

"Joe is a great problem solver," Superintendent Dr. Ken Batchelor said at the September 29 meeting. "[He] is a wonderful asset to our team and we are thrilled to have him be our Acting Director of Transportation moving forward."

Daniele joined the district as a school bus driver in 2008 and has served as Transportation Router for the past nine years. In this position, he performed school bus routing for public and non-public students, maintained the student database and district GPS program, ensured adherence and understanding of bus routes, assisted the Director of Transportation with student bus conduct reports, and transported students, when necessary.

Daniele holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from West Chester University, a CDL Class B License with Air Brake, Passenger and School Bus Endorsements, and is a PA Certified School Bus Instructor.
