13 RHS Music Students to Participate in District Music Festivals
Thirteen music students from Radnor High School earned the opportunity to participate in upcoming PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) District music festivals. These skilled young musicians auditioned in a competitive field from Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia Counties to secure places in the PMEA Band, Chorus, and Orchestra ensembles.
For the next two months, these students will learn challenging musical pieces then attend their respective music festivals to collaborate with peers under the baton of distinguished collegiate-level guest conductors. The experience will be showcased in an evening concert.
Additionally, these dedicated students will have the chance to further their musical aspirations by auditioning for the PMEA Region level music festivals in early spring 2024.
