Masks No Longer Required on Buses or at After-School Events
Dear Radnor Community,
On Friday, Feb. 25, the CDC issued new Covid-19 guidance. Based on this new guidance, students and staff are no longer required to wear masks on school transportation beginning tomorrow, Feb. 28. Additionally, students, staff members, and spectators are no longer required to wear masks at large indoor spectator events after school.
This past Thursday and Friday, our students and staff were very respectful of one another’s masking decisions. As a reminder, Radnor schools have complimentary KN95 masks available for all interested students and staff.
Since our schools removed the mask requirement effective Feb. 24, there are no other additional changes at this time. The new CDC guidance gives us another set of recommendations to consider. You can view the new CDC guidance here.
The new guidance from the CDC is good news and affirms our Board’s previous decision.
